Billy Greer is an American musician, singer and songwriter known as the bassist of the Kansas band. He joined the group when they reorganized in 1985, making their debut on Power. Previously, he worked with keyboard / vocalist Steve Walsh in the Streets band, and worked with his own band Seventh Key without playing with Kansas. He is also a member of the Kansas 2009 short term “Native Window” project along with Kansas members Phil Ehart, Richard Williams and David Ragsdale. In addition to performing, Greer leads his son's "3 Story Fall" group and produces their music.
